STEM ADVISORY AND ADVOCACY ROLES
From an advisory perspective, I've spent a decade on the board for the Penn State College of Engineering Office of Outreach & Inclusion, focused on the recruitment and retainment of female and multicultural engineering students. I also completed 6 years on the Scholar Alumni Society Board for the Schreyer Honors College at Penn State. I now sit on the STEM advisory board for Cobb County (Georgia), influencing programs for over 115,000 students.

In terms of advocacy, I'm very active on social media and commonly collaborate with others on their websites and social media platforms. I've advocated for women and under-represented coworkers by actively participating in DuPont's Diversity, Equity & Inclusion committee, providing unconscious bias training, writing essays on the topic of allyship, and creating a STEM outreach program.

"PROGRAMS TO HELP RECRUIT AND RETAIN UNDERREPRESENTED STUDENTS ARE CRITICAL AS THEY CREATE COMMUNITIES AND PROVIDE RESOURCES."
